2022–2023I joined Drippz in its infancy in early 2022. When I first signed on, the company had one product (cannabis flower) that was sold in plain, black plastic jars adorned with a simple label bearing only the earliest form of the logo and any necessary compliance information.
Meetings with the company’s founder revealed a playfulness wholly absent in the brand’s extant identity. The founder was colorful, bold, and mischievous; Drippz was dull, dusty, and in deep need of a little pizzazz.
Throughout my nearly two-year residency at Drippz, I developed and refined a brand identity that echoed the soul of its creator. Consequently, we unleashed a brand that spoke to the souls of thousands of connoisseurs across California. Win-win.
I personally designed and illustrated all packaging, merchandise, and display collateral for Drippz until September 2023. That comprises over eighty cannabis SKUs across six product lines, dozens of wearables, and lord knows how many prototypes as we figured it all out.
